Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American model, singer and songwriter. She is best known for playing 'Blair Waldorf,' in the tv drama "Gossip Girl." Leighton Meester's acting career started as an elementary school girl. During her childhood she performed in the local stage production of 'Wizard of Oz,' following which her interest in acting increased. Her first work experience was modeling as well as in commercials. When she was modeling she worked with large brands such as "Herbal Essences," "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. It began her career as a model before moving into acting. She started her career as a model, but later transitioned into acting. In addition to her acting work, she's also written music for Robin Thicke of 'Cobra Starship.' She's worked on various songs and tracks as a team. Songs from her album have been categorized in the Billboard Top Hits.' Leighton Meester performed in a Broadway production of Of Mice and Men.
